GTC Flooring Adhesive is specially formulated for bonding sheet vinyl covering, foam-back carpet, rubber-backed carpet tiles, PVC tiles, cork floor tiles, fiber glass mesh and wood – block tiles to most surfaces, including concrete, timber, hard board and vinyl.

GTC Flooring Adhesive is an acrylic based material with paste like consistency formulated to produce : ☐ A high degree of tack in dry film. ☐ Excellent bond strength ☐ Exceptional resistance to plasticizer migration.

Product data
Appearance : Light cream colour. Consistency : Thin paste. Odour : Slight odour when liquid, but odourless once dry. Open Time : 20-30 minutes, dependeing on sight conditions.
Drying times
Depends on application method and substrate, normally not longer than 24 hours. Flash Point : Flammable in wet state. dry film non flammable. Water Resistance : Adhesive is resistant to damp, but continously wet or damp conditions will damage any floor covering. Chemicals : Resistant to most common chemicals, softens in strong organic solvents. Coverage : Approximately 5m² / KG Depends upon porosity of subsitrate and trowel size.
Application details
☐ Surface Preperation : The surface to be sealed must be sound, dry and free from oil grease, dust and other contamination. ☐ Application of Adhesive : Spread the adhesive over areas of approximately 1 m² at a time. Press flooring materials firmly into the adhesive within 20-30 minutes. Press into position making sure any air bubbles are excluded. Remove excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth.
Application conditions
At a temperature ranging 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F) . Relative humidity is below 75%.
Storage and handling
Product must be stored as per local regulations and should be kept in dry well ventilated location far from heat and direct sunlight. Can should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use. Storage temperature range between 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F).
Important restrictions
For thin film application diluted the 1 part of PVC adhesive to 3-4 parts of water.

Safety precautions
The following notes should be considered when using/applying material:- (a) Take precautions to prevent material entering the eyes (goggles should be worn, irrigate the eyes with water when become contaminated and obtain medical care at one). (b) Take precautions to avoid skin contact (gloves should be worn, barrier cream should be used). (c) Ensure that repeated contact of paint with skin is avoided. (d) Provide adequate ventilation. (Face masks must be worn). (e) Keep away from sparks and open flames (for solvent-based materials).
