Product description
A solvent-borne finishing coat based on Plasticised Chlorinated Rubber Resin intentionally developed to suit application over surfaces exposed to moderately aggressive environments.

Where to use
As a long term decorative and protective finish coating especially designed for the protection of various surfaces inclusive yet not limited to masonry, asbestos, brickworks, gypsum board, cement, tiles, steel... etc.i.e. • Silos, Chimneys, warehouses. • Sub-stations, Barriers. • Chemical Plants, Factory Walls. • Exterior Masonry and concrete buildings.

Surface preparation
NEW SURFACES : 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist in accordance with SSPC-SP1 Solvent Cleaning (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Wire Brush/Mechanical Power Tool clean areas where laitance , surface porosity and loosely adhering foreign material exist in accordance with SSPC-SP2 and/or SSPC-SP3 Standards. 3. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and contamination free prior to paint application process. OLD/PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES : 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist in accordance with SSPC-SP1 Solvent Cleaning (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Remove all blistered, cracked and brittle paint coats off the surface. 3. Detached coats with inadequate adhesion must be properly scrapped back to a firm edge. 4. Glossy paint coatings must be sanded/roughened to ensure proper intercoat adhesion characteristics with successive paint coatings.. 5. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and contamination free prior to paint application process.
Where to use
Intended for a two coat applications over a thinned down priming coat of GTC Chlorinated Rubber Clear Sealer. (Please refer to individual product data sheet).
Mixing and thinning

Important restrictions
• GTC Chlorinated Rubber Masonry Paint can be used as a primer coat over Concrete masonry and other porous surfaces when thinned 30% by volume with recommended thinner in which case no sealer will be required. • Can also be applied over well prepared and suitable primed steel surfaces; particularly to areas adjacent to sea environments and humid conditions.
Cleaning tools
For cleaning tools and equipments use CR Thinner.
Application conditions
At a temperature ranging 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F) . Relative humidity is below 75%.
Storage and handling
Product must be stored as per local regulations and should be kept in dry well ventilated location far from heat and direct sunlight. Can should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use. Storage temperature range between 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F).

Safety precautions
The following notes should be considered when using/applying painting material :- (a) Take precautions to prevent material entering the eyes (goggles should be worn, irrigate the eyes with water when become contaminated and obtain medical care at once). (b) Take precautions to avoid skin contact (gloves should be worn, barrier cream should be used). (c) Ensure that repeated contact of paint with skin is avoided. (d) Provide adequate ventilation. (Face masks must be worn). (e) Keep away from sparks and open flames (for Solvent-based material).
