Product description
Epoxy Floor Coating is a high build two component solvent free Cyclo Aliphatic Amine cured epoxy coating, which provides seamless smooth hard wearing durable coating with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.
Special features
• Durable with excellent abrasion resistance. • Resistant to aromatic and hydro-carbon solvent, fuels, industrial detergents and a wide range of industrial chemicals. • Solvent free odorless during application. • Dust proof, easy to clean due to its seamless smooth finish. • Slip resistant when spreading silica sand on top of it while yet to achieve the required texture. • Excellent adhesion to primed metal, concrete and sand cement plaster surfaces.
Where to use
Epoxy floor coating is suitable for most industrial plants, warehouses, parking areas and wet flooring areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, and swimming pool paths.

Surface preparation
1. degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist in accordance with SSPC-SP1 Solvent Cleaning. (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Wire Brush/Mechanical Power Tool Clean areas where laitance, surface porosity and loosely adhering foreign material exist in accordance with SSPC-SP2 and/or SSPC-SP3 Standards. 3. Steel should be abrasive blast cleaned in accordance with SSPC-SP10 Standard (SA1/2 Swedish Standard) and suitably primed as per individual situation depending upon type of substrate. Please consult with GTC Technical Service Dept. 4. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and contamination free prior to paint application process. 5. Concrete damaged areas should be treated and leveled with GTC Epoxy Putty and/or GTC Epoxy Mortar Getamoor.
Where to use
1. Intended for two coat applications over well prepared and suitably primed concrete and a variety of other surfaces. 2. Priming Priming needed only in a necessary cases, where concrete shows not sound and high porous bad quality, use GTC Getoxy GES Clear Epoxy Sealer to prime the required areas. 3. Anti slip application If a slip resistant texture is required, the first coat shall be applied minimum 250 microns DFT and directly blinded with the recommended GTC silica Anti slip Grain to achieve the required texture finish. Excess aggregate should be brushed out before applying the top final coat.
Important restrictions
1. Concrete floors should be minimum 28 days old. 2. For maximum performance, curing temperatures should be above 10 °C (50 °F) since material will not adequately cure below 5 °C (41 °F). 3. Two pack epoxies are commonly known to chalk upon external exposure. 4. It is not recommended to apply two pack epoxy material over 50 °C (122 °F).
Cleaning tools
For cleaning tools and equipments use GTC099 Thinner.
