Standards and approvals
GTC Wood Primer – White is formulated to Kuwait Standard Specification KSS 14/1970 and has been based as suitable for use in Kuwait by Government Laboratories and Testing Stations.
Surface preparation
1) Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and free from oil, grease.. etc. 2) Wood must not contain more that 17% moisture. 3) Surface must be sanded and/or ground to eliminate surface imperfections.
Application details
♦ Purpose of Usage of wood primer : Intended for a single or two coat applications over well prepared surfaces, and to be overcoated with conventional paints.
Mixing and thinning

Important restrictions
For best results over porous wood Brush Application is recommended as this method Helps achieving maximum penetration and adhesion into the substrate.
Cleaning tools
For cleaning tools and equipments use GTC002 Thinner.
Application conditions
At a temperature ranging 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F) . Relative humidity is below 75%.
Storage and handling
Product must be stored as per local regulations and should be kept in dry well ventilated location far from heat and direct sunlight. Can should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use. Storage temperature range between 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F).
Safety precautions
The following notes should be considered when using/applying painting material:- (a) Take precautions to prevent material entering the eyes (goggles should be worn, irrigate the eyes with water when become contaminated and obtain medical care at once). (b) Take precautions to avoid skin contact (gloves should be worn, barrier cream should be used). (c) Ensure that repeated contact of paint with skin is avoided. (d) Provide adequate ventilation. (Face masks must be worn). (e) Keep away from sparks and open flames (for solvent-based materials).
