GTC Technique E.L. Firenze are pastes offering a multitude of aesthetically pleasing effects which impart a rich luxurious quality touch to the locality. It is also protective as well as decorative for interior and exterior surfaces. GTC Technique E.L. Firenze is water and weather resistant, flexible and very durable. MONOCHROMATIC : On rubbing will produce one colour with shaded areas. PRODUCT DETAILS : FINISHES : FIRENZE STD. Sandy mono-colour finish shaded by rubbing.

Surface preparation
NEW SURFACE : 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil, soil and other surface contamination exist in accordance with SSPC-SP1 Solvent Cleaning . (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Wire Brush/Mechanical Power Tool Clean Concrete areas where laitance, surface porosity and loosely adhering foreign material exist in accordance with SSPC-SP2 and/or SSPC-SP3 Standards 3. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and contamination free prior to paint application process. OLD/PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES : 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist in accordance with SSPC-SP1 Solvent Cleaning. (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Remove all blistered, cracked and brittle paint coats off the surface. 3. Coats with inadequate adhesion must be properly scraped-off to a firm edge. 4. Glossy paint coatings must be sanded/roughened to ensure proper inter coat adhesion characteristics with successive paint coatings. 5. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and contamination free prior to paint application process.
Important restrictions
This Product is decorative technique material and should be applied by experienced trained applicators. The final appearance depends on their skills and dexterity. RECOMMENDED PRIMER/SEALER: 1. GTC Acrylic Sealer (thinned 50-100% by volume with fresh water). 2. GTC Textured Primer (thinned 25% by volume with fresh water) (Refer to individual data sheet for additional information). 3. GTC P.Synthetic Sealer (thinned 25% by volume with GTC002 Thinner) METHOD OF APPLICATION: ROUCH : FIRENZE Std. (1 Colour):- - Apply one coat at the required thickness with a trowel in a uniform thickness and leave to dry completely. - Apply patches on dried film surface to produce required appearance. - Apply second coat is the same manner as finish coat to have smooth finish , or as patches to produce required finish appearance.
Important restrictions
1) Polishing with steel spatula or mechanical buffing will increase the sheen. 2) If required a light coat of protective material may be applied after complete drying of Frenze.. 3) It is very important to note that any applicator should be experienced with decorative Frenze.. 4) Colours of pastes may vary due to technical reasons therefore trials prior to commencing jobs should be done.
Application conditions
At a temperature ranging 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F) . Relative humidity is below 75%.
Storage and handling
Product must be stored as per local regulations and should be kept in dry well ventilated location far from heat and direct sunlight. Can should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use. Storage temperature range between 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F).
Safety precautions
The following notes should be considered when using/applying painting material:- (a) Take precautions to prevent material entering the eyes (goggles should be worn, irrigate the eyes with water when become contaminated and obtain medical care at once). (b) Take precautions to avoid skin contact (gloves should be worn, barrier cream should be used. (c) Ensure that repeated contact of paint with skin is avoided. (d) Provide adequate ventilation. (Face masks must be worn). (e) Keep away from sparks and open flames (for solvent-based materials).
