An economical and pigmented water-borne primer/sealer coat based on acrylic copolymer intended for sealing porous surfaces and provide a key for subsequent conventional coats.

Surface preparation
New Surfaces :- 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist. Solvent washing is recommended. (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Wire brush/Mechanical Power Tool to roughen areas where laitance, surface porosity and loosely adhering foreign material exist. 3. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and dust free prior to paint application process. OLD/PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES: 1. Degrease areas where grease, oil and other surface contamination exist. Solvent wasing is recommended. (Use GTC002 Thinner). 2. Remove all blistered, cracked and brittle paint coats off the surface. 3. Detached coats with inadequate adhesion must be firmly scrapped off. 4. Glossy paint coatings must be sanded/roughened to ensure proper intercoat adhesion. 5. Surfaces to be coated must be dry, clean and dust free prior to paint application process.
Application details
• Purpose of Usage of Primer Sealer: Intended for a single coat application over well prepared Internal/External surfaces.
Mixing and thinning
Material must be properly mixed and thinned 2-3 times by volume with fresh water only. • Method of Application: GTC Primer Sealer can be applied by brush, roller, conventional and airless spray.
Important restrictions
(1) For best results over porous surfaces brush application is recommended as this method helps achieving maximum penetration and adhesion into the substrate. (2) This product can be overcoated with all types of oil or water based paint and putty.
Cleaning tools
For cleaning tools and equipments use fresh water only.
Application conditions
At a temperature ranging 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F) . Relative humidity is below 75%.
Storage and handling
Product must be stored as per local regulations and should be kept in dry well ventilated location far from heat and direct sunlight. Can should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use. Storage temperature range between 5°C (41°F) to 40°C (104 °F).

Safety precautions
The following notes should be considered when using/applying painting material:- (a) Take precautions to prevent material entering the eyes (goggles should be worn, irrigate the eyes with water when become contaminated and obtain medical care at once). (b) Take precautions to avoid skin contact (gloves should be worn, barrier cream should be used). (c) Ensure that repeated contact of paint with skin is avoided. (d) Provide adequate ventilation. (e) Keep away from sparks and open flames (for solvent-based materials).
